Agreement on the distribution of INTERSCIENCE products

Written by Patrik Betschon - Published on January 1, 2013

January 2013: VITARIS expands its micobiology range with products from the French manufacturer Interscience. Interscience has been offering high-quality products for microbiology since 1979, specially developed for fast and reliable analyses in quality control, from sample preparation to bacterial counting.

A comprehensive portfolio for modern laboratories

With the addition of the complete product range, VITARIS now covers all steps of microbiological testing - from sample preparation with gravimetric diluents from the DiluFlow series, to high-performance laboratory homogenizers such as the BagMixer models, to precise peristaltic pumps such as FlexiPump or FlexiPump Pro. The comprehensive solutions for sample preparation with a wide range of homogenization bags - from non-sterile laboratory bags to high-strength, pre-sterilized filtration bags from the BagFilter, BagPage or BagLight series, each tailored to the respective analysis requirements - offer particular added value.

Interscience also offers manual and semi-automatic solutions for colony counting, for example with the Scan series devices, which ensure fast, accurate and reproducible evaluation of Petri dishes. Thanks to sophisticated software solutions and user-friendly design, all work steps can be efficiently documented and integrated into existing quality management systems.

With this new partnership, VITARIS is strengthening its expertise in the field of microbiology and now offers its customers a complete range of products for reliable microbiological quality control - from a single source.
