July 2025 - VITARIS, as GILSON 's distribution partner in Switzerland, is pleased to announce the launch of the new PIPETMAN® M96. The motorized 96-channel high-throughput pipette has been developed to enable semi-automated pipetting directly at the lab bench - easy, fast and ergonomic.

PIPETMAN® M96 is a practical and intuitive electronic air displacement pipette for high-throughput pipetting on 96- and 384-well microtiter plates. PIPETMAN® M96 is available in four different models, which together cover a volume range from 2 μL to 200 μL. With the PIPETMAN® M96 GILSON aims to support laboratories in gradually automating their processes with a flexible and user-friendly solution. The new pipette for high sample throughput is aimed at laboratories that want to increase their throughput without having to invest in complex, fully automated systems.

Why choose PIPETMAN® M96 from GILSON?

Liquid handling with the PIPETMAN® M96

The device enables touchscreen-guided pipetting directly via a large front display, which guides the user step by step through the process and is easy to operate even when wearing laboratory gloves. Several integrated pipetting modes such as serial dilution, plate-to-plate transfer and repeat dispensing allow flexible applications without the need for additional equipment. The ergonomic design with adjustable finger rests, a one-handed lifting head and low physical strain ensures a high level of comfort, especially during long laboratory sessions. Compatibility with SBS-standardized labware and PIPETMAN® DIAMOND tips eliminates the need for proprietary cartridges, which not only saves costs but also ensures future flexibility. Overall, the system enables time-saving and efficient work with high reproducibility, as consistent results can be achieved independently of the user. The intuitive operation and well thought-out design make it an ideal solution for modern laboratory requirements.
