Agreement on the distribution of ibidi Slides

Written by Patrik Betschon - Published on January 1, 2006

January 2006: ibidi GmbH, Munich, develops and produces a "lab-on-a-slide" system, so-called micro-slides (µ-slides), which are used to analyze cells and biomolecules. VITARIS and ibidi have signed a distribution agreement on an exclusive basis for Switzerland.

µ-Slides and µ-Dishes for precise life cell imaging

VITARIS is extremely pleased about this milestone. This exclusive partnership with ibidi enables us to offer our customers in Switzerland state-of-the-art products for life cell imaging with immediate effect. The µ-Slides and µ-Dishes from ibidi are characterized by their innovative plastic surface, which offers excellent optical properties and is therefore ideal for high-resolution microscopy. The cell culture products ensure optimal conditions for cell growth, imaging and biochemical analysis and offer scientists an efficient way to shorten experimental times while achieving more precise results.

ibidi pump for constant, unidirectional media flow

In addition, the new cooperation also includes the high-precision ibidi pump, which can be used to generate defined fluid flows in µ-slides to simulate physiological conditions. This technology opens up new possibilities for Swiss laboratories in the simulation of blood flow, vascular physiology and the analysis of cell reactions under dynamic conditions.

At VITARIS, we are proud to partner with ibidi to provide pioneering solutions for research institutions, universities and biotech companies. Our specialized application experts and skilled service technicians are now available to provide customers with the best possible support in the introduction and use of these innovative technologies.
