VITARIS, a specialist supplier of innovative laboratory equipment and high-quality consumables for the Swiss life science market, has a new owner in the Swiss CHROMOS Group AG. The merger took place due to the close alignment of the company's philosophy and business model. This integration into an international group of companies provides Vitaris AG with the basis for additional growth and further development in new business areas.

In 2015, the current CEO Marius Kleger acquired all shares and, together with his team, ensures the continuous growth and ongoing success of the company. The selective choice of brands from leading international manufacturers focuses on applications in cell culture, microbiology and molecular biology laboratories as well as general laboratory supplies in the Swiss market. VITARIS AG is based in Baar and employs over 20 people.
"The merger with a group of companies such as CHROMOS Group AG offers the potential for us to invest in additional fields thanks to the many things we have in common. This is done on the basis of shared values, which is very important for our employees, customers and suppliers in terms of continuity. I am very much looking forward to this new chapter in our history and, above all, to the exciting projects with which we will continue to grow.
